Battle of the Bands
Mountain Ridge Band will be hosting a battle of the bands on February 27, 2010 from 12:00 to 4:00
All music genres accepted.
1st Place - $1,000
2nd – 7th Place prizes yet to be determined
Only seven bands will be invited to the competition, and will perform during a progressive draw the day of the show. Bands will be allowed 20 minutes or 3 songs, of original music or covers. Sound equipment will be provided, bands must play their instruments, no backing tracks or solists.
Submissions due by January 4th, 2010
Submission Requirements: Minimum of 3 students currently attending DVSD school (Photo copy of student ID), Completed application, 2 song demo CD, Publicity photo (good quality, digital format), Lyrics to all original songs, and $25 non-refundable submission fee.

Selected groups will be contacted by January 22nd. The seven finalists will be required to submit, Rules and regulations & Liability release signed by all members of the band (signed by parents if under 18) and $250 performance bond by January 29th, fully refundable at the completion of the scheduled set.
